Marieke & Ram’s wedding was the one of my favourite weddings I’ve ever photographed! And I am a bit biased when saying that because it was at one of my all time favourite wedding venues, the Gladstone Hotel, so how can you go wrong really? The Gladstone has so many different eclectic areas to photograph in. I adore all of the rustic wooden detailing, and the reflective surfaces, and of course the bright pops of colour throughout the hotel.
Marieke & Ram’s whole wedding took place at the Gladstone Hotel. From the getting ready, to the reception, it was tons of fun! After we took some getting ready photos we took some creative photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and then headed to the ceremony which took place on the first floor of the hotel. It was a very intimate affair, filled with raw emotion. Then afterwards we headed to Marieke & Ram’s hotel room which had it’s own private roof balcony and we got some amazing sunset shots overlooking the city skyline. Then we headed back to the main floor where they had transformed the ceremony spot into an eclectic, romantic wedding reception. And what reception is complete without a cake? But this wasn’t an ordinary cake, it was a tower of cheese stacked up to resemble a cake. Now we’re talking! ♥
I had such an amazing day, and Marieke & Ram are lucky to find each other as they are a super perfect match for one another.
Marieke & Ram were a referral from their really good friends Lydia & Alan– who’s wedding was in 2012. After their wedding, Marieke & Ram wanted to book me and the rest is history. 🙂
Meghan is such a very, very talented photographer and helped to make our day even more special! We thank you again Meghan and highly recommend you to everyone!
