Bailey & Nick had their spring engagement shoot starting off at one of their favourite neighbourhood bakeries; Bobbette & Belle– and I see why they love it there! I simply adored the cute white wash decor, complete with a gorgeous cake wall, and eclectic framed art on the wall, and don’t forget their delicious cupcakes!
We walked around their neighbourhood for a bit on Queen st E in Toronto snapping some cute photos, before heading to Riverdale Farm. It’s very breathtaking there, they have a lot of historical buildings on site complete with an amazing rocky bridge, and rustic barns as well. I love photographing at Riverdale as it’s a perfect mix of urban and nature. Plus I’m an architecture nerd and it’s swimming with a lot of beauties and epic details. My favourite detail being the giant wooden porch on one of the red bricked homes. It’s framed with trees and flowers leading into a antique doorway and lattice. We finished the photoshoot by doing some fun photos on the TTC streetcar, and the Queen st bridge.
I loved photographing their urban engagement! So no doubt I had a similar experience at their Glamping themed Wedding at Archeo this summer. It was so well thought of in every detail from the ceremony decor, to the side walk decals to make sure you were going the right way. Also at the reception they had the best desert table complete with deer cake topper, and every possible cookie and pie you can dream of, all setup on top of a birch bark trunk.
I’m sure they will be never be bored of each other, as they’re always sharing adventures together. Whether it’s going rustic camping, traveling, or a growing family, they will handle it with grace and enthusiasm. ♥
