Angela & Phil are the sweetest couple, and super in love, and I was incredibly fortunate to capture their wedding day at St. James Cathedral Centre, Toronto. The day started with Angela getting ready at the King Edward hotel. She had such a gorgeous wedding dress on with a unique train that cascaded down, a beautiful vintage inspired headpiece, and a burgundy and deep purple bouquet. She looked incredibly breathtaking!
Then we walked across the street to St. James Cathedral Centre where they tied the knot. It’s my first time photographing a wedding there, and it was by far one of my favourite spaces to shoot in! It was such a modern space, with tons of reflective glass, exposed brick, and natural window light. It even had some modern cutouts in the walls that made you think you were inside an art gallery. It’s like I had died and gone to photography heaven! 🙂 It was a very intimate ceremony with just close family and friends, which was just what the couple wanted.
After doing some wedding party and couple photos we headed to the reception at Richmond Station where they had the most delicious food for dinner. Angela & Phil had rented out the entire space so it was very personal affair full of laughter and tears. It was a perfect end to a perfect day.
