Had to share this engagement photo shoot I am loving of Danielle & Aiden! ❤️ It was my idea to go to Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. I brought a yellow smoke bomb with me to play with for the photos! Which are my favourite to photograph as they is so much depth in them, with the vibrancy of colour against the couple. Those turned out to be my favourite the first 3 photos! When we were walking around randomly all of a sudden it would pour down rain for about 5-10 min and then stop, which resulted in these super moody bizarre art like cloud formation which is wicked! I really adore this photo of the couple in silhouette against the moody sky!
We also walked down the entire boardwalk, and took a ton of photos along the way including marshlands with lily pads where the ivy are. At the other end there was this modern art building. I was playing around with their profile photos, where the rock art installations that are super unique! One of my other photos I am loving of the art installation is of the couple cropped, looking at each other. This photo was taken on a park bench which the two of them were looking adorable together. ❤️ It’s one of my favourites as they brought some candles to make everything romantic, and the tilt shift lens didn’t hurt either to help soften the photo. There is even one photo where the wind is flipping her hair which is just plain stunning!
We also went to the stairway of a very modern building which I’m adoring as there’s rustic elements like the cedar wood panelling in combination with the breathtaking modern space, with a ton of windows and a set of white paneling above them that looks like an art piece. I did a ton of photos there on the edge of the stairwell overlooking the lush park view with the moody sky.
If you want to see more of this super sweet and fun couple, check out their wedding last August that was SO breathtaking at the Secret Garden, in Abbotsford! ❤️😍
