ArtHeart is an organization in Regent Park that provides children and adults with art programs and supplies them with materials free of charge. I heard that they were looking for volunteers a few months back for an upcoming photo project and I jumped at the chance and so did my friend Ken. We both worked together to help these wonderful people! 🙂 We asked our students to capture their Personal Spaces at home but we wanted them to remain out of the photo, because we wanted them to tell a story about themselves through composition/lighting/elements in the photo. The results were just amazing! The photos ended up in a gallery as part of the CONTACT Photography Festival, that was up for the whole month of May.
